Introduction to Specialist Counselling

Specialist Mentoring is designed to support students and professionals in managing mental health challenges while working towards academic, personal, or professional goals. This mentoring helps you balance your well-being with your responsibilities, offering emotional support and practical strategies to manage workloads, build resilience, and achieve success in both your personal and professional life. 

My Approach

I provide a client-centred, flexible approach tailored to each student’s individual needs. By combining emotional support with practical strategies, I empower students to navigate the demands of higher education while managing their mental health effectively.

What to Expect in a Session

In each session, we will focus on your immediate concerns, whether they are academic, professional, or emotional. I will work with you to develop practical strategies that support your goals, whether in your studies, career, or personal life, while also addressing any mental health challenges you may be experiencing. Sessions are typically 60 minutes and structured to provide both guidance and emotional support, tailored to your unique needs.

Getting Started

If you're a student and are eligible for DSA, you can request Specialist Mentoring as part of your support package through your university. Once approved, please send an email attaching your DSA2 Entitlement Letter to specialistmentoring@mightymind.org and I will contact you within 24-hours to arrange an initial appointment.


For professionals, I offer tailored Specialist Mentoring to help you manage mental health challenges while achieving your career or personal goals. You can book an initial consultation to explore how mentoring can support you in balancing your professional demands with your well-being.


I provide both online and in-person appointments to accommodate your schedule, ensuring flexible and accessible support
